6 Days Tanzania Camping Safari
Overview
Embark on a 6-day camping adventure through Tanzania iconic national parks. This budget-friendly safari offers an intimate connection with nature as you explore the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire. Sleep under the stars in well-equipped campsites, surrounded by the sounds of the wild.
Tour Plan
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. Spend the evening relaxing and preparing for your adventure.
Overnight at Arusha Planet Lodge / Mount Meru Hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. You will enjoy a leisurely game drive, spotting giraffes, zebras, and lions. A picnic lunch will be served in the park, followed by a visit to a scenic viewpoint. In the evening, transfer to your camp for a peaceful night.
Overnight at Migombani Public Campsite
After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park, famous for its massive annual migration of wildebeest, zebras and antelopes. It’s also an extremely large and wild game park, and home to the Big Five of Africa.
The rest of the afternoon will be spent on a game drive before you make you way to the camp. You will spend the second day on a full day game drive.
Overnight at Seronera Public Campsite Central Serengeti
Begin with a morning game drive in the central Serengeti before heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Once game drive is over we will transfer you to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
This park is the home to the vast, volcanic Ngorongoro Crater and “big 5” game (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino). Huge herds of wildebeests and zebras traverse its plains during their annual migration.
Overnight at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite
After breakfast, embark on a leisurely drive back to Arusha. Depending on your departure time, you may explore local markets or enjoy a short cultural tour in town. A day-use room will be provided for your convenience before transferring to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home.
